Issue #2: The Times They Are A-Changin'
Concerns and attitudes on climate action are shifting - and it's good to see!
Welcome to Climate Club Queensland: a digest of simple actions that even busy people can take to reduce destructive climate heating.
If you are concerned about climate change, you are not alone. The annual Ipsos Climate Change Report 2022 shows two thirds of people agree that Australia should be doing more to address climate change and 64% want Australia to be a global leader in emissions reduction. Meanwhile, Griffith University has published the Climate Action Survey, showing that 87% of respondents believe climate change should be a government priority.
Our newsy hit list of actions include some aimed at governments, some at corporate Australia and some for us and our own communities. We save you reading emails and socials from the many groups working on climate action so you have more time to take action! 🌞 🍍

Love this! It's especially heartening to hear about Sydney considering banning fossil fuel advertising - it's about time. I hadn't heard of the Fossil Ad Ban campaign before, thank you for bringing it to my attention. Such a good campaign idea.
